General Terms

By visiting and using www.movelio.com, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

These Terms of Service are governed by Norwegian law. However, for private consumers, mandatory consumer protection laws of the country in which the consumer resides shall always apply, in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

These terms are intended to comply with applicable law and do not affect the consumer’s statutory rights.

Orders and Accounts

Customers may complete a purchase as a guest where guest checkout is available, or access a passwordless Movelio customer account using their email address, Shop account or another sign-in option offered by Shopify.

A customer account can be used to view and manage orders, profile information, addresses and available Movelio store credit. Customers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information and maintaining secure access to their account. Movelio AS reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts in cases of misuse or violation of these terms.

Movelio Companion

Movelio Companion is an optional digital service designed to provide general guidance for using Movelio Bed Roller and Bed Roller Professional. The app does not provide a medical diagnosis, treatment or individual medical advice and does not replace assessment or advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

Use of Movelio Companion is subject to the safety information, instructions and privacy information presented in the app. A Companion account may be used to create referral links, follow referral rewards and connect eligible Movelio store credit to the corresponding customer account.

To connect referral rewards and store credit correctly, the same email address must be used in Movelio Companion and the Movelio customer account.

Movelio Referral Program and Store Credit

The same personal referral link may be shared with multiple people. Each referred customer may use the offer once. The applicable discount amount, currency, eligible products and any product exclusions are displayed in Movelio Companion, on the referral offer page or at checkout at the time the offer is used.

Referral discounts cannot be combined with other discount codes or automatic discounts unless explicitly stated in the applicable offer. Referrers cannot use their own referral link.

After an eligible referred purchase, the referrer receives the amount of Movelio store credit stated in the applicable referral offer. The credit becomes available after the stated approval period, provided that the purchase has not been returned, cancelled or refunded.

Earned referral credit can only be used as a payment method for purchases in the Movelio store. It cannot be withdrawn, transferred to another person or exchanged for cash. Each credit issuance is valid for 12 months from the date it becomes available, after which unused credit expires automatically.

Movelio may change the discount amount, reward amount, currency, eligible products, approval period or other conditions for future referrals. Any applicable amounts and conditions will be shown before the referral offer is used. Changes will not reduce store credit that has already become available or rewards already earned under an earlier offer.

These expiry terms apply only to promotional referral credit and not to store credit issued as a refund or other customer remedy. Movelio may reject, cancel or reverse referral benefits in cases of self-referral, misuse, duplicate accounts, fraud, cancellation, return or refund.

Order acceptance and right to cancel

All orders placed through the website are subject to acceptance and availability.

Movelio AS reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order at its sole discretion, including but not limited to cases involving pricing errors, technical issues, payment verification, suspected fraud, shipping or logistical limitations, customs or import restrictions, or incorrect customer or product information.

If an order is cancelled after payment has been received, a full refund will be issued promptly using the original payment method.

Payment

For standard orders, payment is captured when the product is shipped from Movelio AS to the customer.

In certain cases, Movelio may offer pre-orders. If a product is sold as a pre-order, this will be clearly stated on the relevant product page, including an estimated delivery time. For pre-orders, payment may be captured at the time of purchase when paid by card or other immediate payment methods.

If payment is made by credit or debit card, the purchase amount may be authorized at the time of ordering and captured on the day the product is shipped (or at the time of purchase for pre-orders, where clearly stated).

If payment is made by invoice, the invoice is issued when the product is shipped. Invoice payment cannot be used to secure a place in a pre-order or production queue. The payment deadline is stated on the invoice and is a minimum of 14 days from receipt. Customers under the age of 18 may not pay by deferred invoice.

Payment is processed through one or more third-party payment providers, depending on availability and customer location.

In-stock products are normally shipped within 1–4 business days.

Use of Products and Commercial Use

Movelio products may be used by private individuals, physiotherapists, fitness centers, and similar entities as part of their ordinary activities, without any additional license fee.

It is not permitted to charge separately for the use of Movelio products, or to offer rentals, group sessions, treatments, or other activities where Movelio products form part of a paid service, without prior written consent from Movelio AS.

Any commercial use beyond what is described above requires a separate written agreement with Movelio AS.

Security

Movelio AS implements appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data and payment information in accordance with applicable data protection regulations.

Disputes

Any disputes shall first be sought to be resolved amicably. If an amicable solution cannot be reached, the dispute may be brought before the ordinary courts.

For private consumers, mandatory consumer protection rules regarding jurisdiction apply. Bergen District Court (Bergen tingrett) shall be the agreed venue where permitted under applicable law.
