Movelio AS is based in Bergen, Norway. We develop systems for adjustable massage and controlled mobilisation, with personal guidance in the Movelio app.
FROM IDEA TO PRODUCT
It started with a prototype for personal use
In 2022, Christopher Scheiene built the first prototype in his garage in Bergen to address his own need for self-controlled back massage. His aim was to use his body weight to create adjustable pressure while remaining relaxed.
Feedback from physiotherapists and users shaped the development. Sales of Movelio Bed Roller began in summer 2025.

Christopher Scheiene
Inventor, founder and CEO
Christopher developed the original concept and leads Movelio’s work on products, user experience and the company’s continued development.
Stian Engum
Physiotherapist, adviser and co-owner
Stian tested an early prototype and contributed professional input during development. He is a physiotherapist, adviser and co-owner of Movelio.
Developed through testing and feedback
Movelio has received support from Innovation Norway and was incubated at Eitri Medical Incubator. Input from users and professionals has helped us refine the product’s function, adjustments and design.

Movelio Bed Roller
For self-controlled massage and mobilisation at home. Your body weight creates the pressure, while frame height, angle and roller choice let you adjust the experience. For users up to 100 kg. Supplied for assembly at home.
FOR SHARED USE
Bed Roller Professional
The same massage and mobilisation method, developed for shared use in workplaces, clinics and gyms. Easy to disinfect, suitable for users up to 130 kg and delivered fully assembled.
THE MOVELIO APP
Personal guidance, included
The free Movelio app is included with both models. It helps you choose areas and receive a personal programme with guidance on roller, pressure, duration and frequency.
Your feedback helps adapt the programme over time. You control the movement and can stop or adjust the pressure during every session.
From Bergen to Japan
Esaki Medical in Japan is Movelio’s first international distributor. It marks a new step for the company, following the start of sales in Norway in summer 2025.
Our focus remains the same: adjustable massage, controlled mobilisation and guidance that makes the system easier to use.
