The story behind Movelio

A stiff back after a day at your desk. Tired muscles after training. We wanted to make it easier to do something about it yourself, with massage you can adjust to your body and how you feel.

Movelio Bed Roller in use

You set the pressure. The roller does the work.

With Bed Roller, you relax and move slowly over the roller. Your body weight and the adjustable frame create the pressure, while you decide how deep the massage goes.

Stay on one area, roll across larger muscle groups or combine massage with controlled back mobilisation. Hands-free, without electricity and at your own pace.

A wide range of pressure.

In our internal load test, we measured 12.4 to 76 kg through the S Roller, positioned under the lower back of a 110 kg test participant. That is over a 500% increase from the lowest to the highest setting. How it feels will vary with your body, position and massage area.

The first prototype

It started with a need. And a garage prototype.

In 2022, Christopher Scheiene built the first prototype for his own use in Bergen, Norway. He wanted deep massage without holding a device or working hard to find the right pressure.

Feedback from users and physiotherapists helped turn the idea into a product. Physiotherapist Stian Engum tested an early prototype and contributed his expertise. Bed Roller went on sale in summer 2025.
